Six months ago, a Gables regular could walk the length of Miracle Mile and count the same restaurants they had counted for a decade. Since January, seven new dining rooms have opened or announced firm dates within a fifteen-minute walk of Ponce and Alhambra, and most of them belong to operators who could have picked any zip code in Miami. They picked this one.
